“Navigating Challenges: Communicating Jewish Themes and Perspectives in Exhibitions”

“Dagesh” is a program by DialoguePerspectives e.V. that showcases the diversity of artistic production by Jewish individuals and conducts educational programs for children and adolescents nationwide. Our aim is to reflect on a vibrant Jewish culture and collectively find answers to questions such as: What significance does Jewish culture hold within the broader cultural landscape? How can we create positive spaces for engaging with Jewish topics? What can we learn from the experiences of others and how can we mutually enrich each other? More information will follow.

Daniel Laufer, Curator at Dagesh – Jewish Art in Context
His curated exhibition ‘Transitions – Jewish Perspectives on the Present’ is running until June 30, 2024, at the Jewish Museum Augsburg Swabia. He teaches Artistic-Aesthetic Practice at Leuphana University, Lüneburg, and at the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe.
