The panel discussion will take place as part of the 8th Gefilte Fest Dresden and is also included in the ticket. Single tickets can also be purchased.

Under the charming and expert moderation of Danielle Kohen, five very different women who are Jewish or can report very competently on women in Judaism will discuss.

These are Hemdat Goldberg (chef, scientist and journalist from Jerusalem), Yonit Naftali (Head Editor of Foodish at the Museum of the Jewish People from Tel Aviv) and Itta Werdiger (chef, lecturer and food blogger from New York), who have travelled long distances for us. A little closer – from Leipzig – are Dr. Nora Pester (publisher, Hentrich & Hentrich) and Eliana Jacobs-Pliskin (acrobat, musician, performance).

With these guests, the most diverse Jewish cultures, traditions and approaches are represented and we look forward to a dazzling diversity that does justice to today’s reality of Jewish women’s lives.
